- Flu
Everyone 6 months of age and older needs protection against flu! - COVID-19
Everyone 6 months and older is recommended to receive at least 1 dose of updated COVID-19 vaccine. Depending on their age and health conditions, your patients may be eligible for additional doses.
- RSV
Infants under 8 months of age also need protection against RSV this fall and winter. Some children 8 months – 19 months may also be eligible if they are at high risk.
Communicate to families that staying up to date with these immunizations is a safe and powerful way to help prevent severe illness and hospitalization—you can even get these immunizations at the same time!
Don’t forget that children 6 months to 8 years of age getting flu vaccines for the first time need 2 doses, 4 weeks apart for best protection. For children needing 2 doses, it is important to schedule their first and second dose appointments at the same time, so they are fully protected throughout the year.
