Enhancement Details for Providers

‌The myCAvax system has new functionalities available. We are making many of these enhancements in response to user feedback. They have an impact on Providers, especially those newly enrolling, and Local Health Departments/MCEs. Please review what is changing based on your role in the system:

Vaccine Ordering - Provider

 

‌Enhanced Program Records

Providers will be able to view enhanced program records for COVID-19, Outbreak, and State Flu (State General Funds).  

Multi-line Ordering Page to Display Products Based on Program Participation 

Providers will be able to view products on the multi-line ordering page only for the programs which are in the ‘Active’ status. 

Small Order Eligible Products on Multi-Line Ordering Page

Providers will be able to view small order eligible products on the multi-line ordering page based on the program’s ‘Local Ship Eligible’ field. 

Location's Program Added to Orders

Providers will be able to view a Location’s Program added to vaccine orders, allowing for easier reporting.

Program Record Creation During Enrollment

Providers will be able to view a COVID-19 program record created at the time of enrollment. 

Transfer/Redistribution Based on Program Participation 

Providers will be able to receive transfers only if they have a COVID-19 or Outbreak program in the ‘Active’ status. 

Updated Login Page

Providers will be able to see directions on the login page that they should be logging in with their usernames ending in ‘.mycavax’. 

Unified User Login Experience

Updated Account Page Layout

Providers will be able to view updated account page layout for each Location Account.

Vaccine Marketplace

Vaccine Marketplace to Display Accounts Based on Program Participation

Providers will be able to request excess doses only for accounts that have a COVID-19 or Outbreak program in the ‘Active’ status.  Providers who are not Active in a program can only report excess doses in the Vaccine Marketplace for a location.
