The meningococcal conjugate vaccine MenACWY (also referred to as MCV4) protects against four types of meningococcal bacteria (types A, C, W, and Y). CDC recommends routine MenACWY vaccination for:
- All preteens and teens at 11 to 12 years with a booster dose at 16 years.
- Children and adults at increased risk for meningococcal disease.
The meningococcal B vaccine (MenB) protects against a fifth type of meningococcal bacteria (type B). CDC recommends routine MenB vaccination for people 10 years or older at increased risk for meningococcal disease. Adolescents and young adults (16 through 23 years old) may also receive a MenB vaccine.

It’s RSV Awareness Month, Celebrate Saving Lives!
RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) may be little known to many patients and parents. RSV Awareness Month is a perfect opportunity to alert them about the new RSV immunizations that protect those most at risk for serious RSV complications—babies and older adults!
For the first time, we have life-saving prevention to offer patients against RSV. Communicate the importance of this protection to help your patients get vaccinated.
