MMR Vaccination Guidance Reminders Adults - 1 dose or other evidence of immunity if normal risk
- 2 doses at least 28 days apart if high risk, e.g., post-secondary students, healthcare workers, international travelers
Before international travel - All ages: up to date measles vaccination
- Ages 6-11 months, 1 dose before departure, then routine 2-dose series
- Age 12 months and older: First dose now, 2nd dose 28 days later
Before domestic travel - Residents of and travelers to domestic measles outbreak areas with ongoing, community wide transmission may need additional doses of MMR vaccine. See CDC Measles page for details.

Funding Opportunity: Hepatitis B Demonstration Projects CDPH has released a Request for Application (RFA) to select entities to conduct hepatitis B demonstration projects to serve the most vulnerable and underserved people in California living with or at risk for hepatitis B infection.
The projects will facilitate two of the following services: hepatitis B vaccination, HBV infection screening, linkage to hepatitis B care, and/or retention in hepatitis B care.
CDPH will be making $1,300,000 available for two demonstration projects ($650,000).
Funding will be awarded in the form of local assistance grants. Projects will end on December 31, 2027.

- Deadline for submitting written questions: Tuesday, April 15, 2025, by 5:00 pm (PT)
- Application submission deadline: Tuesday, April 29, 2025, by 5:00 pm (PT)
