Updated Today: Provider FAQs

Q: In California, do FDA authorization and CDC recommendations still need to be approved by the Western States Scientific Safety Review Workgroup (WSSSRW) before proceeding?

A: No. Due to extensive and ongoing vaccine safety monitoring at the national level, the WSSSRW has disbanded. To proceed, FDA authorization and CDC recommendations will suffice.

For more answers to your questions, please review the California COVID-19 Vaccine Provider FAQs, updated today, with answers to common questions.
