Protect Adult Patients from Flu and other Respiratory Diseases this Fall

As respiratory virus season is almost here, recommend flu, COVID-19, and RSV vaccines to your adult patients. Your patients are counting on your strong recommendation for:

  • Updated 2024 - 2025 flu vaccine for everyone 6 months and older. Adults ages 65 years or older are at higher risk of flu complications and should receive higher dose flu vaccine.
  • Updated COVID-19 vaccines for everyone 6 months and older.
  • RSV vaccine for all adults 75 years and older and those 60 - 74 years and at increased risk of severe RSV disease

These vaccines help protect adults against associated complications and  hospitalization. Even healthy adults may get severely ill if they have not been vaccinated – Just check out Allison’s story about the dangers of flu.

Let’s make sure our adult patients are getting their flu and other respiratory vaccines this season. Thank you for keeping Californians strong and protected!
