Weekly Wrap Up CDPH News Release: Get a Flu and COVID-19 Shot to Boost Family Immunity During the Holidays Suggested Message: Vaccines for Older Adults Share messages encouraging older adults to stay up to date on their vaccines this respiratory virus season. Older adults are at higher risk for pneumococcal disease, such as pneumonia, meningitis, and bloodstream infections. Everyone over 50 years are now recommended to get the pneumococcal immunization. Older adults, especially those with weakened immune systems, are also at higher risk for getting very sick from respiratory viruses and should get updated flu, COVID-19 and RSV vaccines. Return to Table of Contents My Turn and myCAvax Virtual Agent Update for Password Reset The Provider Call Center (PCC) has updated the function for resetting your password in our Virtual Agent. Password reset is now located in the main menu. The following is the new process: - To reset your account password, open the Virtual Agent in My Turn or myCAvax and select “Password Reset” from the main menu.
- You will be redirected to the myCAvax login page where you click on the link for “forgot password.” You will be asked to type in your username. Your username should follow the format of: yourdomain@youremail.com.mycavax in order for your request to successfully go through. Example: tld.test777@gmail.com.mycavax.
- Once submitted, this will generate a password reset email from "support@salesforce.com" to the email address associated with your account for you to reset your user password. If you do not receive an email, please contact a live agent.
Please note: If you have not logged into your account for 90 days, or more, your account will need to be unlocked by a live agent.
