V-safe Expands to Include Maternal Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Vaccine
CDC’s V-safe is expanding to include the maternal respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine. Now, people between 32-36 weeks pregnant who receive an RSV vaccine can register for a V-safe account to begin receiving and completing health check-ins.

CDPH's COVID-19 Treatments Team launched a new Communication Toolkit in late November, with new patient videos, graphics, and provider resources in multiple languages. Use the tools to remind patients that if they test positive for COVID-19, COVID-19 medications are available and effective for preventing serious illness, but the medications must be started early to work.
