  2. Providing V-safe information sheets to each vaccine recipient CDC V-safe print resources.

Controlant Digital Data Logger Service Ending

On November 24, 2022, Controlant Digital Data Loggers (DDLs) will no longer be available for continued temporary storage temperature monitoring following the initial delivery of vaccine shipments. All providers still using Controlant DDLs for in-house temperature monitoring should make plans to install their own appropriate storage and monitoring equipment. All providers should return Controlant DDLs using the return shipping label.

Reporting Race and Ethnicity Requirement

As part of California’s commitment to ensure that COVID-19 vaccine is equitably available, providers should record the race or ethnicity of everyone who receives COVID-19 vaccine. Please ensure that all clinic staff record this information by whichever method is being used to submit data to your local immunization registry.  To support this reporting requirement, feel free to post this poster in your clinic.
